😰 Do you get vertigo during a tandem paragliding flight?

Vertigo is probably your biggest concern.

However, you won’t feel it during paragliding. Have you ever felt dizzy looking down from a window, standing on a chair, or approaching a steep slope? That’s a normal phenomenon, which varies from person to person. Vertigo occurs when what you see contradicts what your body feels. For example, when you’re high up on a stable surface, your feet sense solid ground, but your eyes see a void, creating a sensation of imbalance.

In paragliding, your feet leave the ground, and there’s no fixed point of reference. You might feel a slight dizziness before takeoff, but once you’re in the air and comfortably seated, that feeling quickly fades. Instead, you’ll be captivated by the beauty of the flight and the thrill of the experience, and any vertigo will vanish, replaced by awe.

Many of our passengers are surprised to feel no fear. The slight apprehension before takeoff completely disappears once you’re airborne.
